How to Obtain: Beginner Platesmith Finish is a material that can only be obtained after a player has reached 89 proficiency in the platesmithing expertise. After reaching 89 proficiency the player simply needs to talk to Brakis and inquire about the story "Trade: Platesmithing Beginner". Brakis will give the player a task to bring him 3 proof of a boss (Hoarfrost Hollow) or of an item the boss drops. Example: 3 Proof Of Emuloch or 3 Emuloch Horned Helm. The helms can be bought on the market as the proofs can only be obtained once a run of the mission Kobold Chief. Bringing Brakis the Proofs will reward the character with 2 Beginner Platesmith Finish, as bringing the helms will reward with only 1 Beginner Platesmith Finish.
