Embermain is the boss that you must fight for Kirstie when she asks you to bring her Gold Gnoll Leather. He is at the end of a long passage in the Perilous Ruins and is the third boss faced in the game. He wields a spiked club and attacks twice.

StrategyEdit

Embermain attacks twice every time, advancing forward while doing so. Therefore, dodging backwards is not a good idea, and his swing has a rather long range, so dodging sideways may not work. The best method is to run away while he is charging (i.e. crouched on the ground, poised to strike)and find something large (like a boulder, large stick or a ruin). When he comes to find you, throw the object at him. This will stun him momentarily and regular attacks can follow until he begins to charge again.
