Counterattack

Additional Details

  • Fiona-only skill.
  • Requires a small shield to use. Large shields (i.e. Kite Shield) cannot be used to execute counterattack.
  • Can be used immediately after a successful guard
    • Upon successful guard, let go of guard and press smash to perform Counterattack. Guard must be dropped; Counterattack won't trigger while the player is guarding.
  • Has a high chance to stun the enemy.
  • The second counterattack can be aimed by pressing a directional key. If not aimed, it will simply strike forward in the direction of the player's front.
  • It is possible to stun more than one enemy with counter attack, provided they are within the splash range of the weapon.
  • Consumes high amount of stamina.
  • Decreases Shield durability when used.
  • Gives about 1/6 of a bar of SP per enemy hit, far above what its damage would suggest and if used on a spider mob it can fill up over a bar and a half.
  • Cannot be used with Heavy Stander. See Heavy Stander Counter.
  • This skill is great for break-off the part that is used to attack, such as Blood Prince's lance.
