Introduction[ | ]
Weapons and Armors in Season 3 and onwards are crafted through the Composite system. Each gear is created by combining composite materials: 1 main component and a various number of secondary components. Components come in different qualities and randomly generated stats on them. The final product has the combined stats of components used and its components can be swapped out at a cost.

Each type of equipment consists of 1 unique main component, the Essence, and 2~4 secondary components, that are always explicitly labeled in their names. Each set of essences and secondary components vary with equipment level and set type and will require different essences and secondary materials.

Composite Crafting and Replacing[ | ]
Both options can be accessed by right-clicking on the composite material, then selecting the function you would like to use. As an alternative, Diannan at Rocheste's Magician's Guild offers the same functions.
Composite Crafting from the composite materials is fairly straightforward. Select the weapon or armor you want to create from the list, then select the appropriate materials from your inventory and press Craft. The crafting process will cost 350,000 gold to create the weapon or armor equipment..
Replacing a component is more costly than the initial creation. You will need to pay gold and provide a bunch of extra materials that drop in season 3 and 4 such as Godly Cloth or Godly Iron Ore.
Notes about Composite Replacement[ | ]
- The Essences or other combination materials of higher level cannot be replaced with materials of lower level.
- Same applies to the vice versa situation.
- The Essences or other combination materials of higher rarity cannot be replaced with lower rarity materials.
- This means you cannot replace a Legendary rarity item with a Rare item. Use the following color-coded mnemonic: Orange is better than Purple which is better than Blue.
- When replacing the Essences of different rarities (e.g. from Rare to Legendary), the item's Enhancement level (+1 and higher) will be reset.
- Switching between the Essences of the same rarity (e.g. Legendary -> Legendary)
- Item's Quality stars (*) and Enchants are never reset when replacing combination materials of any kind
Dismantling[ | ]
Dismantling materials turns them into Sealed Power: Fragments and Inherited Power: Fragments, which are then used as materials for Material Synthesis.
